OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP
Holiday Helpers Needed
Don't panic just yet, but the holidays are around the corner and AMH is again asking the community to remember those living with psychiatric disorders. There are gifts to be given and feasts to be eaten, all of which will be made merrier with contributions from our community.
Gifts for Teens
After 12, kids no longer can receive gifts from existing holiday programs. Please help us help them awake to a special gift this holiday. Your support is another way of saying, “Someone cares about you and wishes you Happy Holidays!
Festivities
East Side Center offers modest lunches Monday through Friday, but for the holidays, Chef Kevin Donovan likes to provide feasts that represent the traditions celebrated by many Americans. An ESC member also plays Santa with small gifts for each member. Food, gift coupons, beverages, activity passes….all are riches during the holidays.
Please contact Belinda Bradley, Director of Support Services 793-2352.

a standstill as AMH awaits additional funding to complete the
vision of a mental health complex for our community.
Added
Value … sharing the spirit
Several
revenue-raising efforts are underway; both will help all of us.
Your gift to AMH comes with a gift for you to give someone else.
A portion of the contribution amount is also tax deductible. Both
will add meaning to gift-giving. Please

MEMORY GARDEN
One
of the next phases of the renovation project is to create a Memory
Garden and landscaping around the buildings and near the bike
path that separates the main property from the parking area. Designs
are being developed with help from BOCES and work will begin once
the project is funded. For a minimum donation of $100 supporters
can become part of this project which will incorporate trees,
flowers and shrubs in a beautification project that will remember
the spirit of those who have come before. A card recognizing your
contribution will be sent.
Your
contribution helps purchase trees, bushes, benches, picnic tables,
bricks, stones, annuals, perennials and a special memorial to
loved ones. Help build a garden that reflects the beauty inside
230 Maple Street outside for all the community to appreciate.
All contributors will be listed on the Wall of Distinction and
in the Association’s newsletter, Parallax – new line
of sight. Please

Dinner Art Auction, but many other expressed an interest in making
it available for purchase. Therefore, note cards and limited edition
8 x 10 prints of “Picturing Ourselves” is available
with proceeds from this sale will going towards furthering renovations
at 230 Maple Street.
